ESS LAUNCHES ‘MAKE AN IMPACT’ PROGRAM

Social Networking Drives Eye Pro Manufacturer’s Charitable Campaign

Eye Safety Systems, Inc. (ESS) today officially announced the introduction of its Make an IMPACT^TM campaign to provide protective eyewear to public defenders.  Operating from the official Facebook fan page for ESS Eye Pro, the program serves as a community-building enterprise with a charitable focus. By joining ESS on Facebook, fans play an active role in providing protective eyewear to military, law enforcement, fire service, and others who show their dedication to others while putting their own safety at risk.  For every 100 new Facebook fans who “Like” ESS at http://facebook.com/esseyepro, ESS donates five sets of eye protection through the Make an IMPACT^TM program.

“The goal of the Make an Impact program is to celebrate our protectors and to highlight their need for eye safety”, said Steve Dondero, ESS VP of Marketing.  “Those dedicated to protecting others are often under-equipped.  Getting them proper eye pro is one of the simplest and most effective ways to ensure their continued health, and by extension, our own.  ESS is excited to found a program benefitting a diverse group of heroes; through Make an Impact, we aim to provide a simple means for anyone to express their thanks to military, law enforcement, and fire service professionals.” 

The Make an IMPACT^TM program combines corporate product donation, an ESS community forum, insider product promotions and frequent tie-ins with similarly-oriented outside charitable programs.
