ESS Shooter Dave Cloft Breaks 4 National Records

Wearing ESS eye pro, MAJ Dave Cloft of the U.S. National Rifle Team broke four National Records on September 3rd, 2011. 

While competing in the Ohio State Mid-Range State Championships, Cloft fired a .308 caliber rifle with metallic sights.  He broke the old National service record of a perfect 150 points and 11X's (center shots) with a 150-12X, the 500 yard service record of 149-8X with a 150-10X, the 600 yard service record of 150-6X with a 150-9X, and the old aggregate service record (combination of the three yard lines) of 448-30X with a perfect score of 450-31X. 

Cloft will also be wearing ESS eye pro when he represents the USA at the World Long Range Championships in Brisbane, Australia, this October.

Today, Eye Safety Systems, Inc, (ESS) announced Remember 9.11, a charitable sales program designed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001 by raising funds for the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.  Named for a firefighter who died on 9.11, The Tunnel to Towers Foundation is a New York-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healing and providing hope by building customized homes for severely-wounded combat veterans, and assisting the families of fallen U.S. Military and public safety officers.

All U.S. Marines to be Outfitted with New ESS Crossbow Ballistic Spectacles

August 18, 2011 -- Sun Valley, ID USA

ESS (Eye Safety Systems, Inc.) today announced that its Crossbow™ ballistic spectacle has been selected as the standard issue eyewear authorized for use by the United States Marine Corps.  All Marines will receive a new set of Crossbow™ spectacles in a total force resupply commencing in 2011 and continuing throughout 2012. The Crossbow™ is part of a complete eye protection system from ESS that includes the Profile NVG™ goggle and the U-Rx™ prescription insert. These three ESS products now represent the only standard issue authorized eye protection for U.S. Marines.

ESS was recently awarded an important contract by the United States Department of Defense. This contract specifies the use of the ESS U-Rx™ prescription lens carrier in existing and future DoD eyeshield and goggle products.
